Report Center Terms

What do the various terms in the Report Center mean?
Below are definitions of items you may find in your reports.

Term Definition
Ad Business Name The ad business name given to an advertisement by the advertiser. This is the business name that is displayed in the advertisement.
Ad ID The name given to an advertisement by the advertiser.
Ad Impressions The number of times an advertisement was displayed in a given time period. Not all distribution partners report impression data.
Ad Return Rate For a given time period, ad return rate is calculated as matched queries divided by parsed queries, shown as a percentage.
Admin Fee A percentage of the gross revenue defined by your contract with Ingenio. This fee covers the administration of the Pay Per Call product.
Amount Charged The amount charged for a call.
Average Call Price The average cost of a charged call for a given time period.
Average Charged Call Duration The average length of a charged call for a given time period.
Average Gross Revenue Per Charged Call Gross revenue per charged call for a given time period. Calculated as gross revenue divided by charged calls.
Average Net Revenue Per Charged Call Net revenue to partner per charged call for a given time period. Calculated as net revenue to partner divided by charged calls.
Billed Call Mins The number of billed call mins of the charged calls for a given time period.
Call Charges The total call charges for a given time period. Includes call charges that may have been refunded.
Call Duration The number of talk time minutes of a call.
Call Result The final outcome of a call. Call results include answer, busy, no answer and others.
Caller Location The caller's city, state, as determined by the caller's phone number. Caller location may not reflect the caller's actual location due to cell phone portability and voiceover IP.
Caller The phone number of the consumer calling an advertisement.
Charged Call Per Matched Query For a given time period, this is calculated as charged calls divided by matched queries, shown as a percentage. Rate is calculated only with calls originating from partners that report impression data.
Charged Call Lets you know if the call was charged or not. If it was not charged, this field provides an explanation.
Line Type The type of caller phone line such as landline, mobile, or unknown.
Total Charged Call Duration The total number of talk time minutes for charged calls for a given time period.
Charged Calls The total number of charged calls for a given time period. Includes calls that may have been refunded.
Charged Calls The total number of charged calls for a given time period. Includes calls that may have been refunded.
Click Thru Rate to Details Page Calculated as clicks to details page divided by advertisement impressions, shown as a percentage. Rate is calculated only with calls originating from partners that report impression data.
Clicks to Details Page The number of click-throughs to the business profile page.
Connected Calls The total number of calls resulting with the caller being connected to the advertiser for a given time period. The call result for connected calls is Answer.
Coverage For a given time period, coverage is calculated as matched queries divided by total queries, shown as a percentage.
Date/Time The date and time a call occurred.
Demand Tracking ID The demand tracking id used when querying for ads. Demand partners can have multiple demand tracking ids to track different implementations.
DNIS The toll-free number displayed in the ad. This number is dialed by the caller and routed to the ring to number of the advertiser.
Gross eCPM A performance indicator for a given time period. Calculated as gross revenue divided by matched queries multiplied by 1000, shown as a percentage.
Follow-up Calls The number of repeat calls to an advertisement that were not charged for a given time period.
Gross Revenue The total call charges for a given time period.
Line Type The type of caller line, such as landline, cell, or unknown.
Matched Queries The total number of queries that returned at least one advertisement for a given time period.
Monitoring Queries Query request made to monitor that the system is working, rather than as part of normal operations.
Net Revenue to Partner Calculated as (call charges minus admin fee minus telco fee minus telco fee exceeding charge to advertiser) multiplied by the demand partner's revenue share. The demand partner's revenue share percentage is defined in your contract with Ingenio.
No Caller ID The number of calls with no caller id that were not changed for a given time period.
Other Uncharged Calls The number of calls that were not charged for other reasons for a given time period.
Parse Rate Calculated as matched queries divided by parsed queries, shown as a percentage.
Parsed Queries The number of queries that could be parsed or understood.
Partner Description The description for a partner id.
Partner ID A unique partner identifier.
Ring To Number The advertiser phone number that the DNIS is routed to.
Short Calls The number of calls that were not charged because they were short calls for a given time period.
Source The demand tracking id that queried and displayed an ad that resulted in the call.
Telco Fee A per-minute fee for each charged call to cover telephony and connectivity costs. This per-minute fee is defined in your contract with Ingenio.
Telco Fee Exceeding Charge to Advertiser The amount by which the telco fee exceeds the call charges minus admin fee. In cases where the telco fee exceeds the charge to the advertiser after the admin fee, Ingenio absorbs the exceeding amount.
Test Services Traffic (queries, impressions, etc.) used to test the system and monitor it, rather than as part of normal operations.
TID Description The description for a demand tracking id. If you would like to update this description, please contact Customer Support.
Total Calls The total number of calls attempted to an advertisement for a given time period. Total calls include all call results.
Total Uncharged Calls The total number of uncharged calls received for a given time period.
Total Queries The total number of queries received from a demand partner for a given time period.
Uncharged Calls Calls that were not charged for a given time period. Calls that were not charged to the advertiser may include follow-up call, short calls, etc.
User Name The user name associated with the account.
User Paused The number of calls that were not charged because the advertisement was user paused for a given time period.
